Work on a more competitive EU must start now

Employers' President Dr. Rainer Dulger comments on the confirmation of the new EU Commission:

Berlin, November 27, 2024: "Europe needs a change of course. Competitive companies are the basis for a strong Europe - European legislators have massively neglected this in the last term of office. Small-scale regulation has had a negative impact on business practice and entrepreneurship. This must come to an end.

We employers are ready to help the new EU Commission make the necessary change of course. Together, we can reduce EU bureaucracy in a targeted manner and strengthen the competitiveness of our economy again."
