On the occasion of today's decision on a supplementary budget for 2021, Employer President Dr. Rainer Dulger states:

Berlin, 23 April 2021. It is high time we had a debate about the time after Corona. What we need is a plan for the future.

Limiting taxes and social security contributions is indispensable so that the economy can grow again and tomorrow's jobs can be secured. We must now answer the questions of how we want to do business in the coming years. We need a real unleashing offensive; a mere moratorium on burdens is not enough.

If decisive action is taken now, we will soon be able to comply with the debt brake again. German business is ready for a dialogue on a plan for the future.
