Occupational safety needs efficiency, not bureaucracy
Berlin, October 17, 2025. "With the reform of safety officers, Bärbel Bas's ministry is making a tangible contribution to reducing bureaucracy. Safety remains guaranteed—the key is active occupational safety with risk assessment as a central tool. This is much more effective than a bureaucratic system of representatives.
It is good that the BMAS has recognized that fewer rigid requirements and less paperwork are practical and efficient. The process of modernizing occupational safety must be continued quickly. There is a great need for action."
