On the occasion of today's vaccination summit between the federal and state governments, Employers' Association President Dr. Rainer Dulger explains:

Berlin, 26 April 2021 - Vaccination is economic policy. That is why the best way out of the crisis is to vaccinate quickly. The faster we vaccinate, the faster our economy will get back on its feet and the economy will pick up speed. Companies and enterprises are a good setting for a low-threshold, workplace-oriented and voluntary vaccination offer for the more than 31 million employees. The companies are in the starting blocks for vaccination. It is now up to the politicians to create the necessary final conditions as quickly as possible and to ensure that sufficient vaccine doses are also made available to company doctors. Companies and company doctors have good access to employees. Vaccinations at company level enjoy a high level of acceptance and are readily used. In addition, vaccination can be carried out much more efficiently in these large structures than in doctors' surgeries. Company vaccinations thus make a significant contribution to accelerating the vaccination coverage of the population.
