Commenting on today's election of Olaf Scholz as the next Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Employers' President Dr. Rainer Dulger said:

We wish him every success as Chancellor in these challenging times and look forward to working together in a spirit of trust. The tasks ahead are great. We are committed to a long-term reform agenda for the decade of structural change ahead of us. Digitalisation, decarbonisation and demographic change demand answers and a big picture. This includes respect for corporate responsibility and collective bargaining autonomy as well as a stabilisation of social security. We stand by the government as social partners to solve the challenges."
