Berlin, 23 March 2021: The agreements between the minister presidents and the federal government are an expression of great perplexity and obvious tensions between the parties involved. They look like a big mess instead of goal-oriented action. They damage the confidence of the population and economic decision-makers. But we urgently need this trust for joint success. Germany is facing difficult challenges - and corona management is one of the most difficult challenges. Many employers are appalled at how federalism and the political elites are threatening to fail in the face of this challenge.
