Continuing education in figures:
Almost nine out of ten companies provide in-company continuing education. Learning close to the workplace and information events dominate here. Continuing vocational training in enterprises largely takes place during working hours. 89.2% of the continuing training hours recorded were spent during working hours. Enterprises spend an average of € 1,236 per employee per year on continuing training (€ 629 direct costs; € 607 indirect costs). The extrapolation for the total expenditure of the economy results in an annual investment volume of € 41.3 billion.
