The President of the German Employers' Association, Dr. Rainer Dulger, commented on today's vaccination summit between the heads of government of the federal states and the Federal Chancellor:

Berlin, 19 March 2021. "Vaccinations with AstraZeneca's vaccine must now be resumed immediately. Only by accelerating the pace of vaccination will economic and social life return to normal in the foreseeable future. The slow train must now be turned into a sprinter, and the general practitioners and company doctors in the area must also be involved as quickly as possible. We will not be able to make up the backlog with vaccinations in the vaccination centres alone. German industry stands by its offer to support the vaccination strategy through a coordinated deployment of company doctors."
