We employers hold on to training with all our might

Employer President Dr. Rainer Dulger on the BA figures published today on the 2020/21 training balance sheet:

Berlin, 28 October 2021 The figures for the training balance sheet clearly show that we employers are doing everything in our power to provide training. In the second Corona year, there were once again significantly more training places available than applicants. We must do everything in our power to advance the matching of supply and demand. Practice-oriented career guidance is a must for this.

One thing is clear: The economic upswing can only succeed with the right skilled workers. It is also possible to start training after the start of the new training year. Young people who are still looking should become active now, make use of the BA's vocational guidance service and apply for training offers. The training companies will do everything they can to ensure joint learning success - if necessary also with individual support measures. We cannot and will not afford to lose training opportunities because of Corona.
