Employer president Dulger explains to the current debate of a Germany plan:
Berlin, 26 January 2021: "It is high time to hold the debate about the time after Corona. Developing a Germany plan is therefore the right thing to do. Limiting taxes and social security contributions is indispensable so that the economy can grow again and jobs of tomorrow can be secured. Energy prices must not be a brake on recovery either.
However, a mere moratorium on burdens is no longer sufficient. An unleashing offensive is necessary. For us, this includes above all making Germany fit for business. Agenda 2010 was yesterday. We need more for tomorrow.
The debt brake remains right and has proven its worth. The binding and gradual reduction of debt is as ambitious as it is right, as the long-term consequences will also be felt in the budget in the coming years."
