

Inclusion Award for Business 2026: Apply now!
Berlin, December 3, 2025. Employing people with disabilities is an investment in competitiveness and innovation: That is why the Federal Employment Agency (BA), the Confederation of German Employers' Associations (BDA), and the UnternehmensForum are calling on companies to apply now for the 2026 Inclusion Award for Business.
“Inclusion is not a special path, but a success factor for our economy. Companies that embrace diversity are resilient, innovative, and attractive to skilled workers. The Inclusion Award shows how active participation contributes to corporate success,” says employers' president Dr. Rainer Dulger.
Applications open today, December 3, 2025, International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Employers with exemplary measures for training and employing people with disabilities can now apply: The 2026 Inclusion Award for Business honors companies of various sizes that demonstrate in innovative and exemplary ways how inclusion is practiced in the workplace.
With the Inclusion Award for Business, the three organizing organizations want to encourage companies to showcase their positive experiences with employing people with disabilities and thus inspire other companies.
The patron is Bärbel Bas, Federal Minister of Labor and Social Affairs. She supports the Inclusion Award and emphasizes: “Recognizing the potential of people with disabilities is an opportunity for companies—and important for democracy, the labor market, and our economy.”

The Federal Employment Agency is the largest service provider on the labor market. It advises both citizens and companies on all issues relating to training, employment, and further education. It also offers a wide range of services to maintain and create jobs – with the aim of ensuring long-term participation in working life.
As the leading social policy association for the entire German economy, the Confederation of German Employers' Associations (BDA) aims to focus attention on the potential of people with disabilities, highlight training and employment opportunities, and raise awareness of support services for disabled people and companies. The aim is to further increase appreciation for people with disabilities.
As an employer initiative, UnternehmensForum promotes the training, employment, and continued employment of people with disabilities in the business world. The initiative sees itself as a nationwide platform for exchanging experiences, developing best practices, and providing concrete suggestions for employers. UnternehmensForum launched the award for the first time in 2012.
