The Corona pandemic and its management are a heavy burden for people in Germany and worldwide. Since the outbreak of the crisis, society and politics in our country have done many things right.

With constant decisions for additional expenditure without a solid financing concept, politicians have brought the long-term care insurance out of financial balance.

We reject a European minimum wage bureaucracy as a usurpation of powers by the European Commission. German politicians are called upon to reject this decisively. When it comes to the minimum wage, we must leave the church in the village and with the social partners.

Commenting on the measures adopted today by the Federal Cabinet to comply with the Social Guarantee 2021, Chief Executive Steffen Kampeter said:
Today's decisions by the Federal Government contradict the social guarantee given by the coalition committee in June. It was promised that the limit of 40% on contributions would be achieved with subsidies from the federal government.
