I urge the GDL to return to the negotiating table
The President of the Employers' Association, Dr. Rainer Dulger, commented on the GDL's renewed strike announcement:
Berlin, 20 August 2021. "I urge the GDL to return to the negotiating table. The German economy is just trying to find its feet after the Corona pandemic. This must not be jeopardized by the high economic costs of such a strike. Moreover, the material differences seem bridgeable. We must come to a workable solution in the current situation to safeguard the social partnership."
